The members of the informal group for Science Communication to the General Public (SCGP) met in Brussels to continue the discussions on some of the key issues concerning this issue. Massimo Gaudina, Head of the Communication Unit of the European Research Centre shared his perspective.
The Science Communication for the General Public is an informal group that brings together practitioners from across Europe who have in common the mission to communicate science to the general public.
The meeting in brussels looked at the current status of past activities and assessed priorities for the future including questions like:
a) What do you think is they key priority for this group that the Juncker Commission should consider?
b) Which SC activities should become a priority on the European level in the next 5 years?
